Our partner Marc Cavaliero participated this week as a speaker at the inaugural Budapest Arbitration Days, a forum dedicated to current developments in international arbitration.
Marc joined the panel on sports arbitration, where he examined selected landmark cases and addressed the evolving interaction between European Union law and international sports arbitration, with particular reference to the recent case law of the Swiss Federal Tribunal.
Also in Budapest, Marc attended the FIFA Football Law Annual Review 2026 (FLAR). This annual event brings together practitioners and institutional representatives to analyse recent regulatory and jurisprudential developments in international football law.
The coincidence of both events in Budapest provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives with the international arbitration and sports law community.
